She married Orva W. Earhart on December 4, 1943, and he passed away on August 5, 2002.
Mrs. Earhart was a former Jackson Township Resident. She worked at the Bluffton Clinic for seven years. She also worked 8 years at Van Buren Appliances, and she worked 2 years at McDonald's in Warren, IN. She was a member of the Red Hat club.
Survivors include Son-William E. (Wife, Ebbie) Earhart of Gas City, Ind. Daughters-Nancy L. Whited of Decatur, Ind., Carolyn S. (Husband, John) Patch of Geneva, Ind., Cindy K. (Husband, Joe) Compton of Warren, Ind. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in Death by: Her Husband-Orva W. Earhart, Father-James William Harris, Mother-Viola Luella (Sutton) Harris, Daughter-Janet Collier, Son-Daniel E. Earhart, Brothers-William Harris, Carl Harris, Emery Harris, Kenneth Harris, Arthur Harris, Earnie Harris, Charles Loren Harris, Sisters-Nellie Murray, Della McFarren, Edith Penrod, Marietta Harris.
Arrangements are being handled by Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, Ind., where the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2010 and from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Funeral service will be at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Interment will be at McFarren Cemetery in Bluffton, Ind.
