Clara Lorene (Farlow) Weaver
Mrs. Weaver retired from the Bank of Geneva and Phillips Petroleum of Geneva, IN. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #6751 Auxillary in Geneva, IN. She enjoyed reading & crocheting, and she wintered in Texas. She was a graduate of Geneva High School and later attended Business College before beginning her business career.
She married Merrill Weaver on December 14, 1936 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Merrill passed away on August 18, 1996.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cynthia (Thomas) Farlow.
Survivors include: daughters-Carol (husband, Clarence) Greaf of Knoxville, Tenn., Susan (husband, Alan) Bauman of Berne, Ind., Betty (husband, Josef) Geisler of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Elaine Muselman of Berne, Ind., sons-Larry (wife, Connie) Weaver of Decatur, Ind. and David Weaver of Leo, Ind., 8 grandchildren, 14 Gr.Grandchildren, 2 Gr. Gr. Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews
She was preceded in Death by: her husband-Merrill Weaver, parents- Arthur & Cynthia (Thomas) Farlow, son-Michael Weaver, brothers-Dale & Wayne Farlow and a sister-Lillian Evans
Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington Street, Geneva, Ind., where the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 27, 2010 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, 2010. Funeral service will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, 2010 with Pastor Larry Eads officiating. Interment will be at Backesto Cemetery in Berne, Ind.
