Infant Stephen U. Girod, 12 days old, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 3:00 PM, on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on Saturday, August 7, 2010, in Adams County, IN. He was a member of the Old Order Amish. He was the son of Nathan & MaryAnn S. Girod. of Geneva, IN.
Survivors include: His parents Nathan E.R. & MaryAnn S. Girod of Geneva, Ind, 4 Brothers Samuel U. Girod, Reuben U. Girod,Nathan U. Girod, and William U. Girod all of Geneva, IN, 3 Sisters Miriam U. Girod, Ruth U. Girod, Rose U. Girod. all of Geneva, IN., Maternal Grandparents-Samuel E. & Salome Girod of Geneva, Ind, Maternal Great Grandfather-Enos S. Girod of Monroe, Ind, Paternal Grandparents-Reuben & Emma Girod of Berne, Ind, Paternal Great Grandparents-Emma Girod of Berne, Ind, Paternal Great Grandparents-MaryAnn Schwartz of Geneva, Ind.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2010 At the Girod residence ( 9658 S. - 50 E. Geneva.)
Funeral services will also be at the Girod residence at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2010 with Bishop David Girod officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bunker Hill Cemetery in Geneva, Ind.
