Emma Louise Williams
She was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She married Earl V. Williams on May 6, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1970 at which time they were building a home in Bradenton, FL. Emma finished the home and enjoyed her winters there until 1989. Together they owned and operated the Gamble Hardware in Warren from 1943 to 1968.
She was a member of Chautauqua Club, Tri Kappa, Eastern Star Chapter 75 and was the first Mother Advisor of the Order of Rainbow For Girls, Warren. She was a member of the United Church of Christ.
After moving to Heritage Pointe in 1991, she became involved in many of the activities at the home including serving on the Resident Council.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Janet) Brauchla, Marion; a son, Dr. David Williams (Linda), Southern Pines, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer (Fred) Chase, Shelbyville, Julie (Kenny) Summers, Fountaintown, Joyce (Paul) Brock, San Tan, AZ, Jane (Keith) Brauchla-Mooneyhan, Fort Wayne, Jeanann (Marvin) Boswell, Kokomo, Elizabeth (Matt) Giri, Pinehurst, NC, Jon (Tina) Williams, Rocky Mount, NC and Susan Williams, New York, NY; 11 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; brother, Maurice (Janet) Holmes Warren; a sister, Dottie (Bill) Mann, Ossian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; brothers, Robert, Kenneth and Dwight Holmes; sisters, Ruth Gebhart and Mary Lee and son-in-law Dr. Gene Brauchla.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Applegate Chapel, Heritage Pointe with the Rev. Scott Nedberg officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 am until services at the Chapel. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Warren.
Memorials may be made to the United Church of Christ or the Pulse Opera House.

Emma Louise Williams, 102, Heritage Pointe, passed away on March 3, 2010 in the home. Mrs. Williams was born in Jefferson Township, Huntington County to the late Chester and Orpha (Smith) Holmes.
